Application Procedures for Advanced Standing Students (Transfer, Second Degree, Re-Admit)
  
  
Transfer Applicants:
  
In order to apply for admission as a transfer applicant, a student must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 and twelve (12) college credits (excluding remedial/basic skills courses).

Applicants should complete the general application online or download a copy of the application by clicking here! Applicants must also submit all of the following to the Office of Admissions:

* Application fee of $50.00
* Official college transcripts from all institutions of higher education that you have attended
* Copy of official high school transcript or high school diploma as proof of high school graduation
* Essay or writing samples (only if you have less than 32 credits)

Special major/program requirements include:

* Nursing: admission by faculty review only
* Computer Science: minimum 2.50 cumulative GPA 
* Art: Portfolio must be submitted
     -Schedule your portfolio review by contacting the Art Department directly at 973.720.2401.
     -Please note that an admission decision will not be finalized until the general application and the portfolio review are completed.
* Music: Complete the Music Department application by clicking the second link below.  Both the general application and the music application must be filed concurrently.  Please note that an admission decision will not be completed until the general application, music application, and audition are completed.
     - Classical track applicants – please make an appointment for a music audition by contacting the department directly at 973.720.3466 or clicking here!
     - Jazz track applicants – please send your audition tape/CD to the Music department directly by February 1 of each year.

Second Degree Applicants:
 

Complete the general application online or download a copy of the application by clicking here! Applicants must also submit all supporting documentation, as listed below, to the Office of Admissions:

- Application fee of $50.00
- Official college transcripts from ALL institutions which you have attended
- Copy of official high school transcript or high school diploma as proof of graduation

Special major/program requirements include:

* Nursing: Admission by faculty review only
